Sitting on the border of two LAs in an area with few shops and amenities, Overfields Primary school suffered from a lack of development. The plan to integrate the school with a Sure Start centre created a successful partnership that has overseen the addition of a new foundation stage unit, private daycare centre and courses for parents and other community members.
