Parents of pupils and teachers at Ravenhill and Nursery Fields were concerned that the planned amalgamation of the two well-performing primary schools would not be in the children's interest. But, working selflessly, the headteachers of the two schools have created a new school, Redbrook Hayes Primary, in a new building that facilitates creativity, co-operation and communication.
